A little bit about me and my background as a designer
I’m an experienced designer, currently working as a freelancer. I have a BA in Visual Communication from the Faculty of Fine Art Music and Design (KMD) in Bergen, Norway.
I also have a background in web development, with a degree in IT. I worked as a web developer for a few years, before changing focus towards my current passion for UI and design.

Running my own studio
From home I run my own risograph studio called Det Risografiske. Which consist of me, my machine, and a whole lof of printing.
What is risoprinting you might ask? Risoprinting is a printing technique that combines elements of both screen printing and photocopy technology. It is a type of digital stencil printing where a layer of ink is pressed onto a paper through a stencil. Risography stands out because of its limited color palette of highly pigmented, transparent inks and unique textures and is known for being an economical, environmentally friendly printing technique. Each color is printed separately, allowing for unique textures and overlapping colour effects.

I don’t consider myself an illustrator, but I would perhaps call myself an artist. It’s the classic story of “since I was little I’ve loved drawing”, but it’s true. I never stopped loving it.
I still keep a sketchbook with pencil sketches, but the drawings you see here are all drawn digitally in Procreate.
